If you do, what settings do you use for best sound quality and spotting? For e. Preset: Gaming for performance or do you use a custom one? AND do you turn on 7. Last edited by Vinc3 ; 21 Jul, am. Showing 1 - 4 of 4 comments. VDZ, I just set mine up last night. I use the Steel Engine and select 7.

Best Headset for PUBG

I select the performance preset as it's best suited for picking up foot steps and i turn on bass boost. Then I crank up the volume and I can hear people pretty well from all around! Enjoy your headset! Besbeset View Profile View Posts. Originally posted by Zleepy :. Per page: 15 30 Date Posted: 21 Jul, am. Posts: 4.

Finding the best headset for PUBG might be an obstacle since the market is full of many options. The Kingston HyperX Cloud II is one of the pioneering headsets in the market; its main aim is to offer everything the mediocre gamer would want from a headset.

It boasts big 53mm drivers, surrounds sound processing and a detachable microphone. The headphones also feature a refurbished USB sound card audio control box that amplifies audio and voice, ideal for Hi-Fi gaming experience.

HyperX Cloud II supplies a digitally strengthened, noise-canceling microphone with an automatic gain control functionality with an addition of an echo cancellation enabled feature through the USB sound card.

The result is clearer voice quality and reduced background noise, with voice volume automatically increasing as the in-game sound gets louder, to optimize team communication and in-game chat in intense battles. The Kingston HyperX Cloud II has a pretty reserved exterior; the brushed metal finish feels good, the black color scheme is muted, and the logos are relatively subtle. Perhaps it is not the most fashionable portable pair of headphones, but it is certainly not something you would feel too ashamed to wear out on the street.

Final words, the Kingston HyperX Cloud II with no doubt sounds great, it is packed with many features and has a lot of great extras, making it one of the best headsets for PUBG available at a pretty reasonable price.

The Steelseries Arctis 7 features just about everything you could want in a wireless gaming headset. It is comfortable, stylish, features a 3. It is a luxury gaming headset for PUBG gamers who want a reliable device that can truly do justice to games.

It fuses a stellar pair of stereo drivers with a design that looks and feels every bit as expensive as it is.

The appearance of the Arctis 7 is nearly identical to its prior version. The headset is sleek and sophisticated, with an elegant, streamlined appearance and it has a full-on foolproof adjustable headband. It beats its prior version in terms of comfort, as it provides much more reliable and comfortable results than trying to extend two extremely fickle notched arms.

The wireless transmitter is not a small, USB key shaped adapter like you get with many wireless gaming headsets. Instead, it is a small, black plastic puck on the end of a four-foot cable that terminates in a USB plug. The wireless is crystal clear and works from up to about 30 feet according to the tests.Looking to get the most out of your Arctis headset?

Are you trying to hear footsteps a bit better in games like PUBG or Rainbow Six so you can get the drop on someone better? Or what about just wanting a better music listening experience? We asked five of our stream team members what EQ settings they used on their Arctis and why. I also have the compression on low so footsteps are a bit louder and explosions are a bit softer. I said to myself "I dont seem to hear a difference", plus the fact that the Arctis 7 were wireless I needed a lot of convincing in the sound department to make me fully switch.

Then I found the custom equalizer and my goodness did the sound pour through once I set my custom setting to my liking! I am a fan of good mids, little above average bass boosting and solid mids. When gaming with games such as Fortnite, MMO's, and single player games that have sound play an important role, I wanted to make sure I customized my settings so I can hear the slightest movement in game.

Loving this headset and the control base that comes with it is amazing providing sound above my expectations! I have set the preset to 'Music' as this gives me a good punchy bass and immersion feel at the FPS games I play. By tweaking the EQ manually, I notice that the sounds are a bit more crisp and warm. A low Dynamic Range Compression allows me to filter out those 'peaks' in volume which gives me a nice and even sound in my ears throughout my streaming sessions.

When I play Fortnite, the DAC makes it a completely different experience--sounds are individualized for me when I use the "Smiley" preset. From footsteps to gunshots, sounds are more clear and precise, allowing me to pinpoint exactly where someone is engaging from. I can hear the subtle details in the background, from the nearby water to the birds chirping.

I'm sorry, but I've played a ton, and the amount of times some guy with a level 3 pack, fully geared out, literally as heavy as a small artillery tank at least in a universe where people make noise player sneaks up on me is ridiculous.

I tried working with my headphone's equalizer to help, but nothing makes it any better. I cannot hear people who are 5 feet from me, unless they choose to go all "Bull in a China Shop" on me.

If its a bug, or I need to fresh install, then by all means, I'll shut up, but I am so so tired of not having any kind of idea that I'm about to be torn a new one. Showing 1 - 15 of 25 comments. Arctis 7 vs Arctis Pro: Headset Comparison Review

Bloc View Profile View Posts. Im using Steelseries v2 and to be honest I have no problem hearing people at all. Try different headset if you have a spare or try friend's headphones see if there is some difference, if tht dosen't work clean install the game and hope that the problem will be fixed. Turn the sound all the way up on all settings in game, and turn music off. Like other said, I can hear someone moving in the house next door. There is somethign wrong with your setup.

Arctis Pro Arctis Pro combines premium high fidelity audio with luxurious polished steel and aluminum alloy construction, delivering up to 40, Hz audio with stunning realism and premium style.By Mr. I'm using currently Steelseries Arctis 7 headset and I'm wondering which sound frequency 64,1. Thanks for the answer! Natural sounds, or those digitally created trying to represent natural sounds, don't usually occur at just one point in the EQ band so you can't just adjust 1 slider and all of a sudden only footsteps are louder.

Any sound that uses that frequency would also become louder. You will have to play around with the EQ to get it just right for you but it is at least a place to start. I really wish they would get 5.

It is ridiculous that in we have games released with stereo only. How pathetic. Thank you so much for that!
